Teaming with the Kiel Thomson Company, PICKETT / PASSAFIUME / ARCHITECTS (PPA) was asked to re-imagine the space. The design narrative developed out of an interpretation of the craft of making sushi. The owners (Mi and Chef Kim) bring great precision and creativity to their cuisine, and the challenge was to physically embody this spirit in the new space.
